Pilgrim Swimming Club,
Immingham
Pilgrim Swimming Club in Immingham teaches local children not only how
to swim, but how to save lives. The club plays a key role in the
community in teaching the children valuable life skills and provides the
region with lifeguards. This film shows a small side to what the club
get up to on a weekly basis.
The members of Pilgrim Swimming Club in Immingham got together on Tuesday 24th May 2011 for their annual charity swimathon at Immingham Swimming pool. This year, the monies raised will be donated to St Andrew's hospice, Diabetes UK, and to help a local disabled child, Shaun Dale.
The Swim raised over £2000, and to date, the swimming club have raised well over 18,000 for local children and children's charities.
